Strongman

While sailing away from Panama, the ship owned by Percy Van Norton receives a strange coded message. It is handed to Percy by the wireless operator and the playboy takes it down to his cabin in an attempt to decode it. Succeeding, Percy discovers that it is a distress call warning that the nation of Rutania is about to be invaded. At that moment a submarine spots Percy’s yacht and tries to fire a torpedo at it. Seeing this, Percy changes into the Strongman and dives into the water and diverts the torpedo back at the enemy sub, blowing it out of the water.

While in the nation of Rutania, King Lorac is informed that Aissur and his armies have begun their invasion and their dictator, Nilats demands that the King surrender. However, the elderly ruler refuses to surrender. A few days later, Percy’s yacht arrives in Rutania and despite warnings from King Lorac, he and his crew decide to stay for a visit. This gives Percy a chance to slip away to Mount Kaucus where he changes into the Strongman and clashes with Aissurian forces. He smashes the invading army led by General Shatov and then crosses the border of Aissur and runs to the capital city of Wocsom to deal with Nilats. Inside the royal palace the Strongman is distracted by four Niltas impersonators while the real dictator escapes.

This doesn’t stop the Strongman from stealing a plane and lifting Niltas’ car and carrying it to a deserted area where he forces the dictator to sign a peace treaty with Rutania and end hostilities. He then returns to Rutania and resumes his civilian guise, making up an excuse for his absence.
