Amazing-Man

Credits

A train accident prevents a load of copper heading to supply the military. This is another in a series of accidents that has happened to the company mining the copper prompting them to call the Amazing-Man for help. When Aman and his sidekick Tommy arrive, they learn that the local crime syndicate is sabotaging operations because the owner of the mine has refused to sell to them. While the Amazing-Man goes to investigate the Daisy Mae mine, Tommy is sent to search the Black Tom Mine.

At the Daisy Mae the Amazing-Man arrives just in time to grab the snapped cable of an elevator that is carrying a load of workers into the mine. After the workers are pulled to safety, Aman investigates the rope and discovers that it was intentionally cut. By this time, the leader of the syndicate learns that the Amazing-Man is investigating the mines and sends his men to eliminate these men from interfering with his plans. At the Black Tom, one of the syndicate’s men sets off an explosive in the mine, trapping Tommy inside. When the youth tries to use his strength to dig his way out, gasses released in the explosion begin weakening the youth until he passes out.

Back at the Daisy Mae, the Amazing-Man is knocked out when a large amount of coal and dumped on him and the mine owner. The pair are then set down the track to a smelter. Luckily, the Amazing-Man revives in enough time to pull himself and the mine owner to safety. Aman then chases after the man who tried to kill him and forces his car to crash. Realizing that Tommy may be in trouble, the Amazing-Man flies off to save the boy from the mine. With Tommy being rushed to a hospital, Aman then goes to the syndicate’s hideout and brings their leader to justice. In the aftermath, the Amazing-Man and Tommy are thanked for their help.
