You Can't Go Home Again

The Baxter Building is returned to Earth from the Negative Zone, the occupants unaware that they have inadvertently brought Annihilus back with them. At that moment in Latveria, Alex Power has just finished telling Doctor Doom everything he knows about Ant-Man's plans to bring him down. When Power suggests that he should get back to the Future Foundation, Doom attacks him and informs the boy that he will not merely "let him go". He then drags Alex down into the dungeon of Castle Doom where his parents are being kept prisoner. Doom tells the boy that he will do exactly as he says from now on if he wishes for his parents to survive.

Meanwhile back at the Baxter Building, the Fantastic Four have Darla try out a new set of rings that -- when clashed together -- causes her Thing exoskeleton to form around her. With the device working as expected, Ant-Man tells his team to suit up as they have a meeting with the Inhumans. Soon they are in the Himalayan Mountains at the sight of where Attilan used to stand. There Medusa is put on trial for allowing the Wizard to exploit a weakness that was used against her in the past. Medusa explains how Luna was able to see what was wrong with her and suggests that the girl accompany her back to New York to keep an eye on things. She then challenges the rest of the Royal Family to meet her in combat if they disagree with her.

Back at the Baxter Building, Bentley and Ahura return home with Lockjaw to find the other children of the Future Foundation have accused them of being villains and attack. While back in the Himalayas, She-Hulk is unimpressed with how the Inhumans mete out their laws and storms out. This leads to a confrontation between Medusa and She-Hulk later. While Dragon Man orders the children to a truce, Ant-Man gets the female members of his team to stand-down. No sooner is the situation at the Baxter Building resolved does Alex Power return home to much fanfare. Meanwhile, in the med-lab, Old John Storm awakens and flames on, the only words from his lips is the word "Doom".

Back in Latveria, Doctor Doom takes what he has learned to his newest allies Kid Immortus and Ravonna. They are soon joined by Annihilus, and Kid Immortus is convinced that this will bring about the beginning of the end...
