Showdown Street!

Kid Colt has arrived on “Showdown Street” a notorious alley in the town of Mustang where many gunfighters have met and dueled to the death. He finds the place eerily silent with no foot traffic or horses tied up. As he continues down the alley he is unaware that two men are watching him from a nearby window. Inside the building, there is a gang of men playing cards. Their leader asks which one of his men want to get some target practice on the stranger. When one of them volunteers, the outlaws start placing bets on how many bullets he’ll need to use to kill the stranger.

The outlaw goes outside and challenges Kid Colt to a draw and when he can’t dissuade him to walk away, the Kid draw and shoots the guns out of the outlaw’s hands. After disarming a second would-be duelist, Kid Colt is approached by a pair of local children who are shocked that a stranger made it this far down Showdown Street. Kid Colt asks them to tell him more and he learns that this town is being terrorized by Bucko Durand and his gang, who challenges anyone who dares walk down this street.

Deciding to do something about this, Kid Colt pays a visit to the local Marshal who tells him that there is nothing to do as there is an unwritten law that allows what goes down on Showdown Street to go on. Kid Colt reminds him that the written laws are the only way to make a town safe for children to play and insists that they call a town meeting to discuss outlawing this traditional practice.

Later, Kid Colt goes down to Bucko Durand’s hideout and faces off against all ten outlaws. When they draw for their guns, Kid Colt proves the faster draw and shoots the guns out of their hands. Kid Colt then tells Bucko and his men that the town just changed the law and they are all under arrest for breaking a city ordinance.
