Eddie Brock has just learned that Jorge Valdez — leader of the Quintas Cartel — has gotten his friend Jenna Cole high again, he starts attacking the guards at the security checkpoint outside Valdez’s Mexican stronghold. Hearing the violence outside, the Punisher and his ally Henry Russo seek cover behind the Punisher’s van. Anti-Venom soon comes out and tells them they won’t have to worry about the guards anymore.

Meanwhile, Jorge Valdez is furious to hear his guards get so easily defeated. His lawyer, warns him that they are looking for trouble, particularly since the Punisher stared using superhuman weapons in his war against crime.[1] Jorge is unconcerned and whistles for his men to start arming up, telling his lawyer that he has lots of men.

At that same moment, the Punisher is watching through binoculars and sends Anti-Venom ahead while he gears up. With the help of Henry, the Punisher arms himself with the Owl’s claws, the Ghost’s intangibility gauntlets, the Tarantula’s spiked boots, a belt of grenades, and lastly, a modified Goblin Glider. He quickly catches up with Anti-Venom and once the Cartel spots them they begin opening fire with a minigun. Anti-Venom shrugs off all the bullets and barrels through the blockade. The Punisher leaps off his glider and begins making short work of the guards. That’s when Jorge Valdez attacks him with a knife, but unfortunately, the intangibility gauntlets fail and Valdez manages to stab the Punisher in the chest.

Deciding to change tactics, the Punisher has the Goblin Glider pulls him out of the battle so he can get back to his van and get his rifle. By this point, Anti-Venom has spotted Jenna among the girls that the lawyer is trying to usher to safety. Jorge runs over Brock in a jeep, ordering the lawyer that the women are to stay as hostages. That’s when a bullet from the Punisher’s sniper rifle rips through the lawyer’s head.

Jorge then orders Jenna to be killed and when he calls her a junkie, it angers Eddie who puns the drug lord under the jeep. He then finds Jenna who is still strung out on heroin and is afraid of him until he drops his symbiote. The Punisher has Brock in his sights but doesn’t pull the trigger. Sensing this, Eddie calls out to the Punisher, telling him the vigilante that he can’t pull the trigger because he knows that Brock is now a hero. The Punisher hands his gun back to Henry, complaining that he didn’t pack enough bullets and suggest they leave. Eddie also thinks it time for he and Jenna to get out of there. As he loads her into a jeep she apologies for doing drugs but assures Eddie that tomorrow she’ll be good. Pausing long enough to snap Jorge’s neck, Eddie tells her that he’ll do the same thing and they ride off
