Now

Cindy Moon has finished her first session with Doctor Sinclair, a psychiatrist recommended to her by Reed Richards. As Cindy gets up to leave, Sinclair asks to see her again next week, if the world still exists by then.[1]

Cindy then reports for her job at the Fact Channel where there the place as in chaos as reporters try to get information about an identical Earth that has appeared in the sky above Manhattan. Seeing something so massive, Cindy feels helpless to do anything about it. That’s when she is called into J. Jonah Jameson’s office. Jonah is convinced that this is the end of the world and gives her information on her family that he was able to get from the NYPD. Unfortunately, he hasn’t found anything on them. However, he does have info on a young man who was arrested after causing a car accident while being under the influence of drugs. The young man gave the name James Park, who is affiliated with the Goblin Nation gang. The interesting thing about him is that when police first asked for his name, he said he was Albert Moon.

Cindy can’t believe that this is her brother, who never touched anything stronger than Ibuprofen when they were kids. When it looks like she isn’t going to see James Park and confirm if he is her brother or not, Jameson assigns her to go and interview him to get his opinion on what is going on. He suggests she do it now since she won’t be able to check until tomorrow.

She isn’t sure if this is her brother but Cindy races up to the roof to change into Silk. There she finds her co-workers, Lola and Rafferty who are watching the world come to an end. They invite her to join, but Cindy says she needs to meet up with someone. She can’t help but smile when the two lovers do an end-of-the-world selfie. Changing into Silk, she swings across the city and tries to get ahold of Spider-Man, but he is not answering his phone.

As she heads to the hospital where James Park is staying, she stops to help a father and his infant baby out of a burning building. The whole way across town Silk finds herself stopping to help people in danger. She pushes herself to keep going until she spots a bus about to fall into a hole that has opened up in the street. She secures the bus so that people can get out safely, but a moment of weakness causes her to leg go and the bus falls on her. Unable to breathe, Silk begins to blackout.

Then

It is the day when Cindy has to go into the bunker. Standing outside with her parents, she asks them to tell her brother that she loves him. Albert tells his daughter that she will be able to tell him herself when she gets out. Cindy doesn’t think that won’t happen any time soon. Nari Moon assures her daughter that they are going to try and find a cure for her condition and get her out of there.[2] After they hug, Cindy goes into a bunker and she and her parents cry as the door slams shut.

Now

Silk is woken up and discovers that Dragonclaw has come to her rescue and lifted the bus off her body. She thanks Harris for saving her but tells him to go home and be with his daughter. After kissing him on the cheek, Silk is on her way again.

When she finally makes it to the hospital everyone is fleeing in a panic. She is able to stop one of the staff members long enough to find out which room James Park is staying in. She races to his room and is shocked to see that James Park really is her brother. Not only that he has newspaper clippings about Silk taken onto the wall. He instantly recognizes Silk as his sister even though she is wearing a mask. Pulling her mask down and hugging her brother, Cindy apologizes to Albert for everything. As the world comes to an end, she tells him that she loves him.[3]
