Aman the Amazing-Man

Credits

An earthquake strikes the hotel that Aman the Amazing-Man is staying in with his ally, Zona Henderson. With the ceiling caving into their room, the Amazing-Man grabs Zona from bed and gets her to safety in his green mist form. He then rushes back inside where he finds a massive creature with an elephant-like trunk digging out of the floor. The creature introduces itself as Boro, leader of an underground army created by Aman’s old for the Great Question. When the creature grabs Aman, he uses a knockout gas hidden in his chest harness to get free. However, more of the underground creatures being digging through the floor around him. Outnumbered, Aman turns into the green mist and flees. He then goes to the local police station to get help. However, the chief of police doesn’t believe Aman, prompting the hero to kidnap him and drag the man to the hotel to see for himself.

At first, nothing appears to be amiss, but suddenly a trap door opens beneath them and they fall into the tunnels below. The Amazing-Man throws Boro up onto the surface just as the police arrive. After Boro flees the police attempt to arrest the Amazing-Man for kidnapping their chief. However, the hero has other ideas and turns into the green mist in order to go looking for the Great Question. He finds the villain in one of the buildings, but the Great Question teleports away and fills the room with poisonous “black light” that brings the hero near death. With his strength diminishing, Aman calls for the help of his ally, Nika, back home in Tibet. Nika then uses a new device to transport Aman back to Tibet through the very Earth itself. There Aman is treated and tells the rest of the ruling council that the Great Question is trying to undermine the United States. With the Great Question seeking to target Zona, Nika has Doctor Valhalla use the same device to transporta the Henderson woman to Tibet the same way they brought Aman home. While the Amazing-Man goes back to America to deal with his enemies, Nika tells Zona that he is going to give her great powers.

Back in the States, the Great Question has his underground hordes to commit a series of robberies as well as kidnap police officials. However, the Amazing-Man soon arrives disguises himself as a police officer. Sure enough, the hero is captured and he uses this opportunity to smash the underground dweller’s operation. With his plans falling apart, the Great Question tries to flood the caverns in an attempt to destroy Aman, but the hero gets away as the green mist, leaving the Great Question’s abominations to drown.
