The Thunder God and the Troll!

Reunited with Sif, Thor is impressed with her prowess with the spear. Still, he has a heavy heart after thinking of all the years he wasted with her out of his life. The two are about to test their skills against one another unaware that they are being observed by an army of Rock Trolls. They intend to steal Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, as it will give them an advantage in their current war with Asgard. Although they ambush the two gods, Thor is too powerful for them. Instead, they grab Sif and retreat into their underground tunnels.

When Thor follows after them, he crosses paths with Ulik the most powerful of the Rock Trolls. Thor is surprised to learn that Ulik is more than just a legend. Meanwhile, Sif is taken to Geirrodur, the king of the Trolls. Geirrodur orders his minions to bring Sif to Earth to bait a trap for Thor so they can steal his hammer.

By this time, Thor and Ulik are locked in battle against one another. The troll is powerfully strong thanks in part to the metal pounders that he wears on his fists. The pair are evenly matched and as the battle carries on Ulik becomes more furious. However, before there can be a conclusive victor, Ulik is suddenly teleported away. This was done by Geirrodur who tells Thor that his foe and Sif have been transported to Earth. Thor is now left with a tough decision: Does he return to Earth to save Sif, or does he stay in Asgard and help stop an invading force of Rock Trolls. He ultimately decides that his people have enough warriors and heads back to Earth to save Sif. Detecting that Thor has left the Golden Realm, Geirrodur orders his forces to attack Asgard.

Appearing on Earth, Thor vows to find Ulik and make him pay for kidnapping Sif.

Unfortunately, Saguta dies before he can reveal the location of Mystic Mountain. Furious at the loss of one of his countrymen, Hogun calls out to Mogul to accept his challenge.

To their surprise, Mogul hears this challenge and appears before them in a puff of smoke. Fandral and Volstagg have to use all their strength to hold back Hogun as Thor questions Mogul. The mystic boasts that he can easily defeat any of them due to his superior abilities. To demonstrate this, he transforms his sword into a deadly serpent.

However, before Thor and his allies can attack, Mogul summons his Jinni Devil to carry him away. As he leaves, Mogul boasts that not even the forces of Asgard to stop him.
