The Western Kid is accused of robbing the Wells Fargo office by a man named Mark who says he found his glove at the scene of the crime and tries to take him into custody. However the Western Kid is innocent and manages to escape while the locals laugh at Mark for trying to capture the Western Kid. The Kid then sends Lightning to the Wells Fargo office to try and find the trail of the outlaws responsible and sends Whirlwind off on his own to fool Mark into following after him.

The Kid then hears Lightning calling and goes to rendezvous with his faithful dog. He is then shot at by another man who believes that the Kid is out to arrest him for robbing the Wells Fargo office. The Kid subdues this other man with the help of Lightning and Whirlwind. Getting him to talk he learns that he worked with Mark at the Holstead Mines and brought their load to the Wells Fargo office. However when the safe was robbed, Mark accused him of stealing the paydirt. Realizing that Mark was just trying to find someone to blame for the theft, the Kid is ambushed by Mark who seeks to kill him, but is stopped by Lightning and brought to justice.

Western Kid

Bart Chalmers comes to town and ignores the law and tries to ignore the law that requires all guns to be turned in to the sheriff. When Chalmers attempts to draw on the sheriff, he is jumped by the Western Kid's dog Lightning. Having come to town to get revenge against the Western Kid for sending his brother to prison, Chalmers turns in his gun to try and get revenge. However Bart is spotted by the Western Kid who also knows why he is here and decides to ride otu of town to try and lure Bart into attacking him.

The two fight it out in a graveyard where the Western Kid tells how Bart's father, Bart Chalmers Sr, was a lawman who was heart broken that his children turned to a life of crime. The battle ends ironically when the tomb stone of Bart's own father falls over on him and pins him to the ground, allowing the Western Kid to apprehend him.

The Kid's Last Stand!

The Western Kid is pinned down by Bo Morse and his gang who have him pinned behind a wooden fence. However, with the help of Lighting and Whirlwind the Kid manages to break free and flee into the mountains for cover. With the outlaws after him, the Kid sends Whirlwind and Lightning around, and they ambush Bo and his gang from all sides, forcing them to surrender.

Flaming Six-Guns!

The Western Kid witnesses as Bull Thorne and his gang arrive in town with guns blazing. With a stray bullet threatening to set wagons full of oil to go off. The Western Kid assists in quelling Bull and his gang and warn them against causing trouble again. However, one of Bull's comrades named Gig, plays to Thorne's wounded pride and convinces him to go out and cause a commotion, unaware that he was being manipulated by Gig into created a distraction while Gig tries to steal the oil.

When the Western Kid and Bull Thorne realize what is happening, they join forces with the sheriff to prevents Gig and the others from stealing the oil.
