Yellow Claw's grandniece Suwan is taken into custody and brought to FBI agent Jimmy Woo for questioning. However Jimmy finds Suwan unwilling to talk, as she is honour bound not to betray her grand uncle.

Meanwhile, Yellow Claw and Karl von Horstbadden are working on a special device that opens a portal to another dimension. This portal transports a number of ebings that they called "Living Shadows". The Living Shadows beg to be sent back home, but Yellow Claw has other plans in mind. Yellow Claw sends the Living Shadows to capture Suwan and bring her back to his base.

They comply, but they also manage to bring Jimmy Woo with her. Catching Yellow Claw off guard, and getting him at gun point, Jimmy orders Yellow Claw to use the device to send the Living Shadows back home. However the blinding flash of light allow Yellow Claw, Karl and Suwan to escape once again.

Sure enough the entire population tunes in after a massive advertising campaign and are put under a sleep walking trance while Yellow Claw's minions attempt to loot the city. Yellow Claw and his minions then make a clean getaway...

.. Or so it seems as it turns out Sleepy Eyes was secretly a double agent working for FBI agent Jimmy Woo, and he had used his hypnotic powers to convince Yellow Claw that his mission was a success when in reality his minions looted nothing.

The Thought Master

Yellow Claw is drawn to the town of Riverdale where strange feats such as chickens that lay buckets of eggs, tiny elephants and globally known national monuments have sprung up in the area. Using a special device to follow the energy source, Yellow Claw and Von Bortsmann find Barnaby Wade, who has the power to effect reality with his mind. Weakened by the use of his powers, the so-called Thought Master agrees to join Yellow Claw who promises to provide a serum that will allow him to regain his strength in exchange for using his powers to his bidding.

Soon, Yellow Claw uses Wade's power to have a lion materialize in the room of his mortal enemy Jimmy Woo of the FBI. But Jimmy easily kills the lion, he then gets a phone call from Suwan who warns Jimmy of the power than her grand uncle now has under his control and meets him at the airport to take him to Yellow Claw's most recent hideout.

Meanwhile, Yellow Claw has Wade use his powers to create an army of warriors to fight for him. However the warriors then attack both Yellow Claw and Wade when suddenly Jimmy Woo and Suwan burst in. During the confusion, Yellow Claw manages to escape. Wade meanwhile uses his powers to make the warriors disappear. Feeling weak again, Wade is informed by Woo that the pills given to him by Yellow Claw only caused a placebo effect.
