It just so happens that they are passing a crossing that this train is travelling on. They spot a large rock has been moved on the tracks and park their truck in front of it in the hopes that the engineer sees their truck and stops the train in time to prevent a collision. This plan works, although their truck is wrecked in the process. The soldiers on board are so grateful to the Young Allies that they offer the boys a ride the rest of the way one they get the track cleared. As everyone is working, none are aware of a trio of Nazi spies who have sneaked onboard the train. In the cargo compartment they toss the bodies of dead German soldiers that are being shipped back home so they can hide in the coffins and smuggle the their stolen secrets back to their masters.

However, as the train begins to go, the Young Allies are told to stay in the cargo area they catch the spies and beat them senseless and toss them from the train to their deaths. Realizing what the spies were up to, Bucky convinces the others to hide in the coffins so they can give the Nazis a rude surprise. The coffins are then shipped to a neutral country where they are delivered to the Germany embassy. There, a Nazi official calling himself Herr Doktor is waiting eagerly for the coffins and the secrets the spies will bring to him. Instead the Young Allies ambush them. Looking around, they find that the Germans have been storing their ammunition in the basement and Jeff rigs it to explode. They manage to fight their way outside to a waiting car and escape just as the explosive go off, destroying the German embassy. Rushing to the American embassy, they learn that the ship just left. When they attempt to radio the crew to warn them, they discover the radio isn’t working. With time running out, the Young Allies rush to a nearby airport to get a plane. However, officials refuse to give them one in order to remain neutral in order to avoid the Nazi’s wrath. The young heroes then rush the guards and get a plane and fly off to stop the submarine.
