Volton The Human Generator

In the town of Bayleeville, Sheriff Pop Baylee announces that they are going to get a defense plant that is going to be built in town saving it from the depression that has hit other parts of the country so hard. However, the locals fear that a boom in their town could bring crooks and gamblers that the elderly sheriff will not be able to control due to his advanced age.

Once the defense plant is in place Bayleeville booms and with it comes illegal gambling. When people start to have problems with the amounts they are losing the enforcers at these gambling dens give them a good beating. When the sheriff catches some of these men roughing up the locals he gets knocked out trying to stop them. When he is woken up, Sheriff Baylee vows to shut down the bar that is causing all the trouble, but one of the locals tell him he’s getting too old and at the next town meeting they’re going to request getting a younger sheriff. When Baylee tries to defend himself he is ignored.

That’s when Baylee is approached by Volton who offers to help the sheriff shut down Grady’s Place before the locals can elect a new sheriff. Volton sends Baylee in the front while he covers the rear. Inside, the sheriff and Grady pull their guns on one another. However, Volton shoots out his electrified fist at Grady’s gun. Volton then uses his amazing electrical powers to defeat all of Grady’s gang members.

When the locals hear the racket coming out Grady’s bar, all they end up seeing is Sheriff Baylee running the gamblers out of town. Thinking that Baylee did it all himself, they decide to keep Baylee on as sheriff.
