Patricia Robertson has been ambushed by the mercenary known as Frankie, but thanks to her military training is easily able to disarm the woman, knocking off her wig. Unfortunately, the weapon she took from Frankie is unloaded prompting Patricia to flee her attacker.

At that same moment, the mysterious man in black has just used his weaponized cell phone to knock out Wolverine before the symbiote can take over the mutant as its new host.[1] However, before the man in black can blast the symbiote, his weapon is shot out of his hand by Vic, Frankie’s twin. Vic removes her wig and tries to convince the symbiote to bond with her. The man in black warns the creature that Vic has been cybernetically enhanced to overpower the symbiote and control it with her mind. Vic tries to convince the symbiote that it’s bluffing. That’s when they are interrupted by a local named Yooper who asks if he can slip by and leave on his snowmobile before they all start fighting again. The symbiote then leaves its current host and possesses Yooper instead, pausing just long enough to stop a bullet Vic fired at the elderly man. Now in control of its new host, the symbiote flees through the diner and heads out the back, pausing to set up a trap from his pursuers.

On the other side of the building, Vic tries to go after the symbiote, but them an in black grabs her by the throat, telling her that he will not allow any further interference. That’s when Frankie arrives in their ship and orders Vic to run for cover. As she breaks free from the mystery man’s grasp, Frankie blasts him with the ship’s weapons. Boarding the vessel, Vic tells Frankie how the man in black knew all about them and decides its time to call their masters at the Arc to tell them that there is a leak within their organization. They figure they’ll be able to find out more information about the leak from Patricia Robertson, who is their prisoner. Back on the ground, Wolverine gets up after his jolt and is ready to start round two of his battle. While not far away, the man in black is being repaired by the mechanical spiders that live inside his body. While aboard the ship, Vic and Frankie are instructed to initiate plan b protocol and wait for final authorization. As they prepare for take-off, Wolverine gets a closer look at the mechanical spiders and recognizes them as the reaction of Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. That’s when he notices the craft above rising in the sky. At that moment, Frankie and Vic get authorization and they drop a bomb on both Wolverine and the mysterious man in black, seemingly obliterating them in a massive explosion. Thinking all opposition has been eliminated, the pair take off after the symbiote.

However, in the flaming ruins, the man in black completes his repairs. Determining that Wolverine is still alive as well, he tells his superiors that he has a use for the mutant and then diverts all power from his weaponized cell phone to its maximum energy output before walking away from the scene.
